The Canadian director’s winning streak has given the decade some of its most memorable films : Prisoners, Enemy, Sicario, Arrival and now this year’s Blade Runner 2049. These should be more than enough preparation for spy action.
Villeneuve’s directorial fingerprint has come through each time, despite working with different writers on every project. Eon might be banking on a similarly productive partnership with Bond 25’s confirmed writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.
