Anna and Elsa leave Arendelle behind

The Frozen 2 trailer has been released, delighting Disney fans around the world. Following a cryptic teaser that was dropped in February, this full length trailer offers a more detailed glimpse into the hugely anticipated sequel.

Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel will return to voice and sing the Arendelle princesses, Elsa and Anna, while Josh Gad will reprise his role as the affable anthropomorphic snowman, Olaf.

Jonathan Groff, who voices Anna’s love interest Kristoff, will also return, and the cast will be joined by Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown.

In the first movie, the orphaned sisters were torn apart by concealment, fear and supernatural powers, but were brought back together through love, bravery and a necessary fairy tale plot trajectory.

This time around, they are on a quest to “find the truth”, which takes them “north, across the enchanted lands and into the unknown”. Beyond the realms of Arendelle is a new, autumnal hinterland. The frost may have thawed, but the sisters have fresh obstacles to overcome, with a little help from some familiar trolls.
